Action Always Wins

I see it time and time again. Women are SO fired up to chase their goals, but something derails their best of efforts. It appears that once they approach a little bump in the road, they lose all focus and the desire to forge forward.

After many moments of quiet reflection, I've realized that not only does the coursework/curriculum that I present during Mindset Makeover radically transform, but the magic, the real beauty of their evolution, is found in the support and accountability that the program provides.

So often, we lack the motivation and discipline to get back on the horse when we've been pushed off - we get trapped and fall victim to self-sabotage.

We must recognize that the energy we are wasting wallowing in guilt and shame can be harnessed and used way more effectively.

It always comes down to just DOING something about your dissatisfaction.

The moment you realize you could be behaving in a way that would serve your future-self better is that exact chance you have to do so.

It’s Not A Diet; It’s A Lifestyle

What am I committing to?
No gluten
Minimal dairy 
Mindful consumption of sugar (keepin’ it as natural as possible)
Better sleep
‍ Stress management
Necessary supplementation 
Increased hydration

Why? Because health is a personal responsibility, and I refuse to wait until it’s too late to make any real, lasting change.

Here’s what I’m learning:
Just because you are asymptomatic doesn’t mean you’re functioning optimally internally
Just because something is common doesn’t mean it’s “normal”

We weren’t designed to be perpetually tired, running to the bathroom with a stomach ache, or having skin covered in rashes and acne.

These are ALL subtle signs from your precious body telling you that something is not right and that it needs some help!

In the past, I’ve been someone who typically lives to eat, but I’m switching gears and deciding that I shall now eat to LIVE.

New Beginnings

A Babylon local- that’s what you can call me now.

If you were to ask me this time last year where I’d be today, the picture I would have painted for you would have looked much different.

When I closed my eyes I saw a bigger apartment in NYC, a dog, a ring- among many other things.

But life doesn’t always work out according to “plan.”

I’m reminded once again that sometimes the Universe has something else in mind for us, so it’s best not to fight fate.

The easy thing to do when a situation doesn’t go your way is blame and complain- to stay stuck in the feelings of scarcity and lack.

But here’s the thing- when circumstances shake you up, YOU are the one that’s responsible for putting the pieces back together.

To keep on keepin’ on even when you want to break down because victory usually lies right on the edge of defeat.

Food For Thought

I always try to stay high vibe, but it’s becoming almost impossible to turn a blind eye to all of the evil and corruption that is causing our world to crumble right before our very eyes.
 
This week will most likely be no different, but I know that it will not serve us individually or as a collective consciousness to live in fear and division.
 
With loads of speculation related to how the next few days/months/years will unfold, I can’t help but use this platform (while I still have it) to share a reminder regarding how important it is that we manage our energy.

BEWARE: INTENTIONS AMPLIFIED TONIGHT

The last 12 days have been one of trial and error- trying our intentions on for size to see which suits us best as we step into this new phase of life both personally and as it relates to the world us.

With the sun and moon being in the same Zodiac sign tonight, an inherent spark of energy pushes us to change our lives.

We are forced to evaluate what feels heavy so we can leave that behind while embracing all in our present and future reality, which allow us to feel light.

It’s time to get serious as this phase of the moon provides a real sense of renewal.

Each new moon is a time to feel into yourself- to get comfortable with the thoughts and visions that exist within. Connect to that inner compass and allow it to guide you as you begin to build a life that you’re genuinely excited about. 

Realize, though, it’s not enough to just think of your goals; it’s imperative now to ACT upon them.
